After a quick license check, I was given an option to go through the various features of the car. It was an easy online process and the only requirement was a local (US) driving license.Īt the designated time today, I landed at the Boston Prudential dealership of Tesla.

The recently launched software update 'Summon' self-parking system is available on both the Model S and the Model X and it allows you to exit the car once you arrive home or somewhere with some sort of parking structure, allowing the vehicle to squeeze itself into place.īecause the system is still in its Beta stage, Tesla would rather owners only try it out on their private property, which does make a lot of sense.
